Where to get blood tests

Hi everyone! I'm Marius (he/him), I'm Spanish but I have been living abroad for a while now, mainly in the UK and Germany. I've recently moved to the Netherlands for 5 months to do my internship.

I need to do my blood tests during these 5 months and was wondering where I should get them. I have been on HRT for 3.5 years and I just need at a minimum a basic testosterone test to check my levels. I do this every 3-4 months back home, but this time I didn't have the chance to do them before I came here.

I have Dutch health insurance but I don't know if they will cover it. And I don't know if there's is a private service that would do the tests for me, and I'll just pay for them myself.

Do you have a Dutch huisarts? You can explain the situation to them and if they agree you can have the test at a local test facility covered by the insurance.

You can try your GP first, as Emma already stated.
If they don’t want to help you there is also https://www.bloodtesting.nl/. This is a private company and you have to pay for it yourself.
