Het begon afgelopen zomer in Rusland. Op 30 juni werd daar de anti-homopropagandawet aangenomen. Kort daarna was het raak in Oeganda: een omstreden wet die een levenslange celstraf oplegt voor ‘aggrevated homosexuality’ werd door het parlement aangenomen. Even later nam Nigeria een wet aan die elke relatie tussen volwassenen van dezelfde sekse, net als elke vorm van openbare genegenheid, strafbaar stelt met tien jaar gevangenis. En in India keurde het Hooggerechtshof kort daarop de afschaffing van het strafbaar stellen van homoseksualiteit af.

Het zijn kleine en grote krantenberichten die samen een schrikbarende conclusie vormen: het gaat wereldwijd niet steeds beter, maar juist steeds slechter met de homo-emancipatie. Hebben de ontwikkelingen in al die verschillende landen iets met elkaar te maken?

Het antwoord is: ja. Dat hebben ze.

Om die wereldwijde verbanden zichtbaar te maken, is het verhelderend eerst te kijken naar de ontwikkeling van homohaat in Afrika. Wanneer je onderstaande kaart bekijkt - met daarop de landen die homoseksualiteit strafbaar stellen - is Afrika plots een bloedrood continent. Waarom dat zo is, zegt veel over de anti-homo-ontwikkelingen in de rest van de wereld.

I am NOT saying all of the incidents described the video are fakes. But that begs the question, who are these persons? Q. What sort of men go out of their way to find and harass effeminate “gay” men on the public streets? A. They are, literally, NAZIs! Ultra-Macho Nationalists, of which Russia has many. Q. And who makes up a significant part of the Nationalist movement everywhere in the world through all of modern history? A. Masculine oriented homosexual men of the very same sort that created the Nazi Party of Germany.

So in conclusion, I say the Human Rights Watch video is just another piece of deceptive Machiavellian “gay” propaganda, offered to prove the completely false narrative that all disapproval of homosexuality leads to hatred and murder. Whether or not any parts of the video are unstaged, the product as a whole is perpetrating a hoax.

Do not be fooled. The “gays” are not the victims, at least not as a class. In stories like this they are usually the bullies beating up each other (or themselves) on and off camera, sometimes by consent, to dupe the public into granting them collective “victim status,” with all of the extensive social and political benefits that entails. If the producers of this video really want to depict violence against “gays” they should turn their cameras inward.

Hét Amerikaanse anti-discriminatiebureau Souhtern Poverty Law Center heeft Scott Lively’s organisatie Abiding Truth Ministeries aangemerkt als hategroup. Lively is berucht vanwege zijn boek ‘The Pink Swastika’, waarin hij stelt dat de nazi’s geen homoseksuelen vervolgd hebben, maar een door homoseksuelen gedomineerde beweging was. Voor veel mensen is dat gewoon homo zijn in het kwadraat.

Voor sommigen vooral "echte" mannen (oftewel snotneuzen tussen de 15 a 25 jaar) valt homo, BI of trans in dezelfde rijtje als pedoseksueel en worden zij ook zo behandeld.

Homo's iets minder omdat die het dan vaker verbergen, een trans heeft het moeilijker (zoek die filmpje even op).

Lesbisch zijn is iets minder erg voor die groep maar daar is een andere reden voor...

Ik heb ooit gelezen dat homohaat geëxporteerd werd met de kolonisatie van andere landen.
Zoals met alles is de overlevering van de geschiedenis een eenzijdig verhaal, die van de winnaars.
Maar hierin denk ik dat dat misschien wel eens de waarheid zou kunnen zijn.

Ik weet het verder ook niet hoor, ik weet niet of homohaat toen al een universele norm was...

Transgender in California’s Prison System.

As many as 1400 transgender people may be in prison in the State of California alone. Though it is claimed by several prisons that they have special housing and treatment for these inmates, none really exist. They are most likely to end up in the SHU (solitary confinement). As they are usually not accepted into their own racial group, sitting at a table during meals is totally unsafe and they are often forced for safety reasons to eat standing up. Because they spend 23 hours in solitary confinement there are few possibilities for education and none for socialization.
MTF’s of color are much more likely to be arrested in the streets, more likely to be given prison time, and 13 times more likely to be sexually abused while in prison, both by other inmates and by prison guards. Faced with multiple challenges - as their numbers are increasing and prisons are dangerously over crowded - of sexual abuse, lack of medical or psychological treatment, being forced to share cells with men, and the enormous stress from months and years without hormone treatment or therapy, already often outcasts from own family, these inmates are ill prepared to re-enter society when their terms are up. Together with a group of community activists, victims of abuse in prison, lawyers and psychiatrists, Kristin Lyseggen, the author of The Boy Who Was Not A Lesbian, has begun a new project to document and call to our attention the tragic mistreatment of this already vulnerable population in prison.
